Who I Am

Hi my name is Karen and I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP-accredited program (the gold standard in this field). I have worked in the healthcare field for over 28 years in clinical and administrative positions including at the American Red Cross, St. John’s Hospital, LabCorp, Amedisys, and others.

My interest has always been to help others not only survive, but to thrive, and live in optimal health. My personal and professional experiences have led me to believe that it is possible to obtain mental well being even after difficult events in life. It is now my passion and privilege to walk alongside those who want to heal from the past, no matter what they have encountered, into a positive future.
